"Great opportunities, but a complex platform"

Overall, it seems that the product is maturing and offers potential but at the moment it's pretty average at everything we have tried to do with it. The out-of-the-box features are quite limited and the documentation is amongst the poorest i've seen. Limited out of the box reporting, very complex understanding jijna, user friendliness of the reporting is not great. Aggregates & running aggregates is difficult to execute correctly.

"Would not recommend to a novice"

It is NOT user friendly. I've used other systems that have similar functionality to Braze... One major issue I have is that whenever you set an onboarding flow live, you're unable to make any adjustments to the emails in the middle of the journey. If you want to do that, you either have to wipe out the existing content and add your new stuff in OR duplicate the entire flow and push ppl to the new one. It's absolutely ridiculous.

We were able to create consistent, unified experiences on web, mobile and mobile app seamlessly. Our engagement and conversion rates increased by showing coupons, and recommendations on both platforms. Their customer service team’s prompt technical help and expert knowledge have been amazing through the whole process.

"Good to help jumpstart but unable to scale and grow along (especially on more complex issues)"

MoEngage provides a good start for standard use cases but when trying to go deeper to integrate more complex use cases, MoEngage tends to stutter and fail to deliver the use cases. The platform is not good enough in catering complex use cases as the company grows from basic usages to more customized ones. The customization is not even at the level of total customization. Considering the investment and implication of integrating it within the app, I think this is one of the biggest blocking points of all.

‘’One of the worst platforms I have ever encountered’’

I have never seen software with such a terrible user experience. The platform is completely outdated, very buggy and constantly hangs. Integration with Salesforce CRM is utterly complicated and breaks easily. It is incredibly time-consuming and frustrating to work with it, even for simple stuff. Moreover, customer support isn’t really helpful.
