Criminal background checks often took several days to complete, creating delays that frustrated sitters eager to start work. 4 SitterTree opted for the Essential Alias package, which checks every county where a childcare provider has lived under all known aliases, where laws permit. "By running the Essential Alias check, we receive critical information based on possible name changes or movements between counties," Jody explained, “We took the step to move to Essential Alias reports after Checkr helped us to better understand the benefits and comprehensiveness of the Essential Alias vs. the Basic Criminal checks.” This shift was made in an effort to deepen their knowledge about individuals who wanted to join their platform.
