Our API returns 39 nutritional indicators including energy, macronutrients (e.g. protein, carbs, fats), fiber, added sugars, cholesterol, and a wide range of vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B12, iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium.

These indicators are organized in categories:

  • Macronutrients: protein, fat (with full breakdown), carbs, fiber, energy
  • Fat types: saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, trans fats, omega-3 (ALA, EPA, DHA)
  • Micronutrients: vitamins (A, B-complex, C, D, E, K), minerals (iron, calcium, sodium, potassium, etc.)
  • Special markers: caffeine, alcohol, glycemic load, added sugars, cholesterol
