6
The first time I chose Iterable 5 years ago, it matched the needs of my program with a user experience that was simple enough for new/infrequent users while still enabling us to build complex journeys. The second time I chose Iterable, I had experienced the implementation process and knew the team could get our new instance up and running within a tech stack that had a lot of custom elements. The third time (this time) I chose to come to Iterable as an employee because of my cumulative experiences with the product and the amazing people I now get to call co-workers.

9
Before joining Iterable, I would have said any day I got to just sit down and build journeys and other things in the platform. Now it’s that, plus the unique relationship with product that comes with being Customer 0-sometimes I get into betas early, and I get to indulge more of my “what does this button do?” tendencies now that my usage of Iterable is not purely about the ROI of the messages it sends.

11
The biggest thing is that there is no replacement for liking what you do, and who you’re working with. But on a day to day level, if I’m feeling stuck, I do chores. That might be popping outside to water my tomatoes, or it might be going through some of my regular maintenance tasks that are bite-size. That feeling of finishing something usually unsticks me. (And if that fails, there’s always self-incentivizing with baked goods.)
