But the message confirming that the user has successfully subscribed is more complicated: it must contain both the address that was entered by the user and text. How can we accomplish that?</p><p>We need to concatenate several values. An operation that allows you to join one piece of text to another is called <b>concatenation</b>, and in JavaScript we can do this using the plus sign.</p><p>You can combine together ordinary lines in this way:</p><pre><code>paragraph.textContent = 'Your name is ' <mark>+</mark> 'instructor Muffin';
